A Modern System of Self Defense
Karrado Ryu is a modern blended style that does not conform to any one Self Defense philosophy.
The system in an amalgamation of several different styles, arts and programs, all of which are heavily founded in fundamental
combat theories.
The system has no set forms or katas and the emphasis of the style is not on elaborate
belt ranking systems and high priced contractual obligations. There is no "Zen" or "Mystical" aspect to the system. The focus
is pure and simple: a hard-hitting, straight forward, highly effective, street-style martial art.
Karrado Ryu is a multi generational system thats genealogy can be traced back to the
uncorrupted theories of armed and unarmed close combat. Karrado Ryu uses techniques skills essential to survival in today’s
hostile world.
This is not a "sport fighting" system. The system does not subscribe to (promotional gimmicks)
such as "95% of all fights go to the ground", "Nobody carries knifes anymore" or "Only criminals carry guns".
The system deals with TRUE reality and trains you to defend yourself to the fullest extent of the law.
The system understands that People DO carry guns, knives, Box Cutters, sticks, stun-guns and whatever else you can think
of as using as weapon. We know that real life or death fights are not "one on one". We know that going down
to the ground equals death in real life combat situations.
